The Wakeland football team is winning on the field this year, but the players are also doing great work off the field as part of the Touchdowns Against Cancer campaign.
As of mid-September, Wakeland’s fund-raising total ranked No. 3 among the 2,000 schools nationwide that are participating in the Touchdowns Against Cancer campaign. Wakeland has raised more than $4,000 in the campaign that benefits St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
